Established in 1982, Gables Residential is a privately held owner and developer of multifamily and mixed-use communities. We own, manage and have under development third-party operations for nearly 25,000 apartment homes and 750,000 square foot retail.

In partnership with the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), we are committed to supporting the six core principles of the Foundations for Rental Housing.

Engage with residents to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust and communication.
Have procedures in place to respond to resident requests.
Comply with all applicable anti-discrimination, fair housing and fair credit laws.
Support residents who express an interest in enhancing their credit through rent payment reporting.
Respond to requests from residents facing financial hardship who are seeking external resources.
Rights and responsibilities of lease holders and housing providers will be contained in the lease documents.

Riverwalk Welcomes First Residents, and a Gold-Level Certification!

Gables Riverwalk officially opened and welcomed its first residents on November 10th. To top it off, the community also received a gold-level “Florida Green” High-Rise Residential Building certification from the Florida Green Building Coalition. Gables Riverwalk achieved 171 points out of the required 104 points to receive this recognition. Congratulations to the entire Riverwalk team for the grand opening and for your dedication and continued engagement within the Las Olas community!

Gables Baldwin Park Awarded FGBC Platinum Certification

Congratulations to the Gables Baldwin Park team on earning the Florida Green Building Coalition’s “Florida Green” High-Rise Residential Building certification at the Platinum level. The community achieved 219 points, far surpassing the 102 required, which reflects a true commitment to sustainable building practices and resident well-being. This certification underscores the many benefits of green design, including healthier living environments, lower operating costs, and long-term value for both residents and the community. Although we no longer participate in the ORA platform, this is a national recognition reflecting our commitment to providing an exceptional living experience for our residents.
